Experienced Operation Control Center Manager to manage a 24/7 operations center that ensures the safe and reliable operation of the wind, solar, and energy storage projects (transmission and generation) under normal and emergency conditions, complying with the applicable NERC reliability standards, RTO rules and protocols, and interconnection requirements. Utility-scale solar experience is needed. Accommodation while on project will be provided in Hawaii. You must be able to work in the US without need for sponsorship. Managing the safety operations on a utility-scale solar site. Collaborate with client/ sub-contractors on all communications relative to safety operations. Develop and maintain a safety culture on site. 2-4 years’ experience in a Quality/ Inspector position on a utility-scale solar construction site. Proven track record of QAQC operations management and documentation. Computer literacy: Microsoft office suite.

Operates site in a manner that promotes the highest levels of safety, compliance, and productivity. Able to understand the project financials and perform cost benefit analysis proposals to support site operation improvements. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with Company Policies, Project Agreements and applicable laws. Coordinates the overall logistics and activities for the project in respect to turbine and field repairs, maintenance and other work required. Participates in daily preparation as it relates to manpower, special project and maintenance of the site and all related equipment. Supervises the work of Solar Technicians and Project Subcontractors to stimulate maximum efficiency. Strategically establish working schedules for solar and balance of plant maintenance, repairs and any or other contractual obligations during ideal periods while maximizing production and minimizing down time for yield contracts. Ensures that all daily work reports for the project sites are submitted in a timely manner as well as correct.​

You will be responsible for the successful completion of utility-scale Renewable Energy and Transmission projects through development, right through to EPC and, eventually, Project turnover. Job role/ responsibilities: Organizing and make sure that all Project documentation is up to date. This will include schedules, estimates & budget, risk register & mitigation. Build new and maintain old working relationships with sub-contractors, stakeholders and vendors. Contract negotiation will be a big part of this position. You will be responsible for Project budget and making sure that everyone has a schedule to work to. The ability to multi-task and manage many different projects at once.
